New Wearable’s to Debut at Google IO 2015

Google’s ATAP (Advanced Technologies and Projects) division has been announced that will have upcoming products to show us on the Google IO 2015. The Advanced Technologies and Projects division is the one who is working on Google’s brand new smartphone, the Project Ara.

The Advanced Technologies and Projects Division

Google’s ATAP has introduced their session on the Google IO 2015 like this: “Badass and beautiful. Tech and human. Love and work. ATAP”. They have also stated: “Our goal break the tension between the ever-shrinking screen sizes necessary to make electronics wearable and our ability to have rich interactions with them. “Why can’t you have both? We like to build new things. Sometimes seemingly impossible things. We can build them faster together.”

Looks like ATAP is really working on something big, and I’m not talking about the Project Ara, which I think will be a pretty interesting product to talk about. We will introduce the Project Ara smartphone later in this article. However, let’s talk about the ATAP division a little. The Advanced Technologies and Projects division is currently working on several projects. However, they only announced two of them. One of them is Project Ara, which we will discuss more closely and the other is the Project Tango. Latter is an Android tablet-like device which tracks the 3D motion of the device and creates a 3D model of the environment around it. Quite fascinating, huh?

Looks like the ATAP division of Google is the most radical of all departments. By radical I mean they are coming up with the most futuristic and most creative inventions and products. Some of the companies in the world don’t really want to risk that big, unlike Google, and they don’t really come up with that great inventions. That’s why I have always liked Google since they have gave the free route for divisions, departments and inventors to create what they have dreamed off. That’s why the firm is one of the leaders on the world market. Just remember, the company has started as a search engine and grown to a huge company who is in numerous markets. They are present on the market from smartphones to internet advertisements. Google has grown really big in the last 10 years, however, will this growing increase or will they do like Apple? Will they continue inventing brand new technology and products or will they stop with that in order to increase their profits like Apple did after the company has developed the iPhone 4? My personal opinion is that Google won’t stop with world-changing inventions until the company is going bankrupt. They are “maniacs” who both want to make profits, fame and to change the world.

Google’s Project Ara

As the name shows, Project Ara is still a project, the development of the final product hasn’t been finished yet, so that’s why the final product name for the project hasn’t been given yet by the firm. However, on ATAP’s May 29 conference on the Google IO 2015, we will probably have a name for the device, instead of just calling it Project Ara. However, for now, we will call it just this since there is no other name for the upcoming product-project.

What Project Ara really is? Most of the people don’t know, but many of them heard either about the name of the project or the idea that is behind it. They just can’t really connect the two of them. Let me explain for everybody (what I know so far) what is this mysterious project that we are talking about. Project Ara is a new type of smartphone that has been designed by Google’s Advanced Technologies and Projects division. What could be so new about a smartphone? You would think about a faster smartphone or a phone with a better screen. However, Project Ara is more than that. Project Ara is a smartphone that is formed by modules. These modules are parts of the exterior, so they can be easily disassembled and pieced together by anyone. The modules include the parts of the device, such as the CPU or the GPU. This is a quite great thing since you can easily change the parts of the phone.
