The Company
Let’s write a little introduction about the company that we will be talking about. Samsung is a South Korea (Seoul) based multinational consumer electronics manufacturer that has been founded in 1938. The firm has been one of the oldest electronics companies in the Asian region. Although the company has been founded in 1938, they only started to enter the electronics industry in 1960. They did this because of one thing; the electronics business only started booming in the 1960s, 1970s, not in the 1940s. If somebody could make a profitable company in 1938, which sold consumer electronics to end users, then I would be pretty amazed. However, this is not the case with Samsung. They only entered the industry later, since they saw the potential in it that time. A Thing is that there was no potential in the consumer electronics industry when the company has been founded.
Samsung has grown to be one of the biggest monoliths of consumer electronics firms. The company has gone multinational soon, in the 1970s, so the brand has become to be known worldwide.
Samsung has always been a respectable and well-liked brand among customers. The company has always strived to provide end users the highest quality products, which can make their lives easier. However, sometimes, they provide these goods at pretty high prices, but hey, you need to pay for quality in this world, don’t you?
Samsung has been in pretty many areas in consumer electronics. They are manufacturing TVs, Blu-Ray writers and readers, monitors, USBs, hard disks, and many and many other devices. They have a huge variety of products, which you can choose from. That’s good news for Samsung fans since they, if they want, can buy most electronics products to their households from Samsung. They only need to buy some products from other companies, which is pretty great in my opinion.
Samsung has been in many areas regarding electronics, however, what they are best is: TV making and displays. They have been the number 1 manufacturers, along with LG, in television and monitor manufacturing. These two companies come with the new inventions in the TV industry, which they are putting on the market for the end users to buy. They were the ones who made the first high-quality LCD and Plasma TVs, which is now, let’s say it out loud, old school technology.
Samsung’s Brand New Technology, Introducing the SUHD TVs
Samsung has revealed some details about their new technology in television making, the SUHD. That has been not revealed, however, that in the word “SUHD” what the “S” stands for. Our best bet is the S stands for super. So, Samsung’s new technology is Super Ultra High Definition TV making. That sounds pretty neat. The company has revealed that the new technology will get 64 x better colors to end users than normal TVs. That’s too good to be true in my opinion, but we will see when Samsung is releasing the first TV of that technology. They also stated that the company will improve the curves of their televisions too.
The New Lineup of TVs
Samsung has introduced us the new SUHD technology in January, 2015, but they have revealed the new lineup of TVs for this technology now. They seem to be pretty pricey since they will cost between 3500 and 10000 dollars. Quite a price, don’t you think, for a TV? But you always have to pay for the new technology, don’t you? There will be multiple models that will come in this price range though.
The first TV that Samsung will release will be the JS9000, a curved line TV, which will be available very soon. The television will come in different prices since there will be lots of sizes that you can choose from when buying this device.
The most expensive of the products will be the 78 inch big JS9100, which will cost 10K dollars.
The flat version of the SUHD TVs, the JS8500 will come at a “quite moderate price” compared to the other products. The television will cost 3000 and 4000 dollars, and you can choose from the 55 and the 65 inches sized ones.
